How not to lose your peace and lose sleep over your problems.

We live in stressful times but we must learn how to deal with the stressful times.

Let's look at Mark 4: 35-41
With Jesus in the boat you can smile in the storm.
35 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
If you're not a believer in Jesus Christ you can be. It only takes few minutes to change your life for a lifetime. You see Jesus is calling you to come to Him. Let Him get into your boat and no matter what storm you go through in life you will never be alone. People will fail you but Jesus Christ is real and His love is real. I am not talking about having a religion but about a relationship with God.
How to face stressful times:
Relax, you're not alone. (Jesus is in the boat.) Stop being afraid.
You might think He is asleep and does not care what you're going through but have faith in His presence. He is in the boat.
It's not what you know , it's who you know!
Look at what they said in vs 41, even the wind and the sea obey Him.
"And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"
in vs 40, Jesus asked a question and said Why are you afraid? Another way to ask this is Don't you know who I am and who is with you?
No matter what storm you face with Jesus in your boat you can smile in the storm because even the wind and the sea obey Him.
